The New Haven Chorale, recently celebrated its 50th year, is an auditioned New Haven-based volunteer chorus of nearly 100 members has followed its stated mission:

• to provide professional-quality choral music to the greater New Haven area through public performances and community outreach;
• to enable singers to enhance their musical abilities and awareness;
• and to act as an integral and active member in the cultural life of the community.
